Courtney N. Smuder
Courtney Smuder joined Wilson & Johnson in May 2024 and serves as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice. She focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration, bringing both legal knowledge and financial industry experience to her work with clients.
Courtney earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012, where she obtained certificates in Family Law and Pro Bono Service and served as both President and Vice President of the Women’s Law Student Association. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Political Science, from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Before beginning her legal career, Courtney worked in the financial services industry for more than a decade, which gives her a practical understanding of wealth management and client advising that enhances her work in trusts and estates.
Courtney is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Collier County Bar Association, and the Collier County Women’s Bar Association.
